This tour is designed for those who already have been to Angkor, have seen the "classical" temples and want to see more. On this one-day trip, you will discover the oldest temples in Angkor in the Roluos Group.
'Temple of the sacred cow', or Preah Ko is a Hindu temple in the far South East of the Angkor Archaeological Park. It was patroned by Indravarman II in the late 9th century and consists of mainly sandstone which has left alot of the carvings un-identifiable.
Bakong is another of the 'pyramid-esque' structures from the Angkor Park, but unlike some of the latter structures, Bakong is an early example of using stone (sandstone mainly) for construction as opposed to brick which came in a little later.
Lolei is a Hindu island-temple located in the far South-East corner of the Angkor Archaeological Park, part of the Roluos Group of temples in the area. It was constructed by Yasovarman I during the late 9th century and served as a place of worship.
An additional cost of 37 USD per person is to be expected to get a one-day access to the Angkor site. (learn more) You can get this pass in the evening the day before your booking or in the morning (then our driver will bring you there) :
