This tour is designed for those who already have been to Angkor, have seen the "classical" temples and want to see more. On this trip, you will travel across the Cambodian countryside to see the beautiful women temple Banteay Srei or enjoy the peace of Banteay Samré.
Banteay Srei
Banteay Srei is the fourth of the 'Banteay' ruins, and like the others is constructed of mainly sandstone which has left it more deteriorated than most of the other ruins in the Angkorian region. However, it keeps some of the most beautiful and finest examples of Angkorian art.
Kbal Spean is an archaeological site consisting of many large rock carvings and inscriptions, located 25km North-East of the main group of Angkor ruins.
Bantay Samre was patroned by Suryavarman II in the style of Angkor Wat, about 5km East of East Mebon. Samre is a relatively flat Hindu temple constructed in the mid 12th century, around the same time as Angkor Wat and is an excellent location to visit within the AAP.
An additional cost of 37 USD per person is to be expected to get a one-day access to the Angkor site. (learn more) You can get this pass in the evening the day before your booking or in the morning (then our driver will bring you there) :
