Thommanon

Thommanon is a large sandstone temple structure that stands just outside the Northern end of the East wall of Angkor Thom. It was constructed in the late 11th to the early 12th century under the reign of king Suryavarman II in classic Angkor Wat/Khmer style, and served as a Hindu temple.

Phnom Bakheng

Phnom Bakheng is perhaps one of the most important of the Angkorian temples, due to the fact that this was the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area marking the move of the capital of the Khmer empire from Roluos to Angkor in the late 9th century.

Day 2

Preah Khan
